My heart! We’re still on a high while browsing our wedding photos.
Good food, amazing view with the people close to our hearts this is what came down during our wedding last 12th of Jan. I cannot even put into words how special that day was.
After lots of hard work and non stop late nights, we finally did it! We are able to push our dream wedding. We didn’t want it to be grandiose – we just wanted a day that we will remember forever.
We’ve spent lots of time on pinterest and getting married groups and forums because as much as possible we wanted to save but without sacrificing the things that we want. We invested more on the teams that will capture our special moment so we can keep on reliving it. So yes basically, the P/V and FOOD cos FOOD never disappoints. 🙂
Sharing with you some of the details from our wedding!
Our DIY Invitations
Now most of the things in our wedding, we DIYed. So just imagine how busy we were during those 10months of prep. There were ups and down but the best advice I could give is to never lose sight of what the wedding and marriage truly means. You may want to read how we designed our wedding invites here. We are really proud of the outcome of this. I did the design and my husband did the foiling and cutting <3
Our theme was vintage, rustic with a motif of burgundy, blush and rose gold, all set in a garden wedding. Ralph and I were catholics and the catholic church don’t allow weddings outside the church anymore so we decided to get married twice. One solemn wedding with just our closest family in a church and then after 2 days we held our garden/cliff wedding.
We changed to sneakers during the reception so we can move freely.
When we were searching or the venue, the biggest factor that we’re actually looking at is the view and if possible on a cliff, since Ralph proposed to me a year ago on the cliff in Bali as well. You may watch our proposal video here.
The Vintage Bridal Car
Our favorite part of our wedding was definitely when we said our vows to each other. My husband has just a way of making me feel my comfortable self. Call it cliche but he really does completes me. I know it’s not all rainbows and butterflies all the time but he makes me feel human. He makes me feel all the rollercoaster of emotions – love and hate. Sometimes both at the same time but it gives me all the reasons for existing.
My family was complete that day. Definitely one of the best moments. Not sure when will this happen again! <3
The feeling of having all of our family and friends in one place and knowing they put the effort to travel and make time for us made us feel so special and loved.

Our godmothers and godfathers that we look up to.
Ralph and I made a vow not to give each other material things anymore but rather give the gift of new experiences. It was really hard to think of something but I’ve been wanting to bring him to Canada for quite some time cos I really enjoyed it before and felt bad that he wasn’t with me then so I thought us travelling there would be the perfect gift. Could work as a honeymoon too. 🙂
Ralph gave me loads of self made gift vouchers haha. To name a few, there were free massage (by him) vouchers, shopping day voucher, your turn to select a movie voucher and even a barista machine voucher. There were 18 vouchers in total I think – all with terms and conditions of course lol It’s very clever and I really appreciate it.
We also gave our entourage some and suppliers some tokens that we handpicked and gift wrapped as a form of appreciation for being with us on our special day.
Our First Dance as a Married Couple
We danced our hearts to the tune of Best Part by Daniel Caesar and All About Us by He is We.
Some of the things didn’t go as planned during our wedding but it’s all part of the memories I guess. No matter how prepared you think you are, there will be always be last minute errands but we think it’s really all part of it and it’s something to talk/laugh about after the wedding.
